Location
I am very excited for you to see the new Blue Monday space! My goal was to find a place that felt inspiring, unique, and that could be a place where I’d actually enjoy being day after day. Well, revitalization and industrial spaces are interests of mine and I was lucky enough to land a great spot at 20 Park Hill Road East in Cambridge Ontario. Some locals know this Cambridge landmark as the former Ray Electric building or the place where people went to do martial arts! It's looking different these days with its cool black and white facade and custom murals. The property dates back to 1909 and was home to the Getty and Scott Shoe Company for over 40 years.
The Blue Monday space is just under 700 sq’ with high ceilings, lots of natural light, and some bespoke pieces to make it feel unique, such as the former dresser that’s now a beverage center, reclaimed wood wall and numerous pieces of original art from Cambridge artists. In case I forget to tell you, there’s always a chilled bottle of water, Perrier, espresso or cup of tea waiting for you when you arrive.
